If the pool water is still translucent but takes on a colour, it probably contains copper.

Copper generates a corrosion effect that colours your water.

This copper can come from different sources:

• The high copper content of the water supply
• Your pool's metal accessories (pump, piping, heating, ...)
• If your algaecide is copper-based, this can also leave metallic deposits
• Rainwater can also increase the metal content of your pool water.

• Have the pool water tested by a pool technician to confirm the presence of copper
• Adjust the pH between 7.0 and 7.4
• The use the metal sequestering agent hth®  METALSTOP 
• If necessary, perform a static flocculation using hth® RAPIDFLOC (with the filtration stopped) then use a vacuum broom to remove any deposits that have accumulated at the bottom of the pool and tip the dirt into the sewer.
