The waterline is a highly sensitive area that tends to get dirty very quickly.
As it happens, pollution accumulates and forms a deposit of scale and/or grease on the surface of the water which ends up becoming encrusting on the walls of the swimming pool and leaves yellow, black or white marks.
Be careful, these marks can remain permanently if we don't deal with the problem in time.
A permanent mark forms at the level of the waterline, generally due to the accumulated limescale in the water, but also algae, pollen, and all other forms of pollution (residue of sunscreen, barbecue smoke, nearby roads, ...)
This area should be cleaned weekly during the high season not only to preserve your pool's aesthetics, but also to eliminate bacteria.
Cleaning the pool's waterline is strongly recommended at the beginning of the season but also before the wintering period. This preserves the pool's coating and means that you are prepared for the following year.
