DIRTY WATERLINE

The waterline is a highly sensitive area that tends to get dirty very quickly.

As it happens, pollution accumulates and forms a deposit of scale and/or grease on the surface of the water which ends up becoming encrusting on the walls of the swimming pool and leaves yellow, black or white marks.

Be careful, these marks can remain permanently if we don't deal with the problem in time.

Les causes possibles

A permanent mark forms at the level of the waterline, generally due to the accumulated limescale in the water, but also algae, pollen, and all other forms of pollution (residue of sunscreen, barbecue smoke, nearby roads, ...)

Les conseils de traitement
  • Gently rub the sides of the pool with a soft cloth, sponge, or special waterline brush.
  • For the best results, descale and degrease with a special waterline brush and the product hth® BORKLER® GEL. Its thick gel formula adheres perfectly to vertical walls and can work without rubbing thanks to its excellent solvent and detergent qualities.

This area should be cleaned weekly during the high season not only to preserve your pool's aesthetics, but also to eliminate bacteria.
